Support Services Division

The Support Services Division is currently commanded by a Support Services Manager (a temporary position equal to Police Lieutenant).  The Division also consists of a Records Supervisor, three Police Clerks, seven Safety Dispatchers, one Community Services Oficer assigned to property/evidence, one School Resource Officer and two Detectives.

The units within this division consist of the Investigations, Communications, Records, Jail and Facility Management, Property & Evidence and Major Crime Scene detail. 

All personnel in this division believe in and adhere to the values that make this department what it is and adhere to the Mission Statements of the Selma Police Department and the City of Selma.

The Support Services Division’s primary goal is to provide excellent service in meeting the needs of the Police Department and the community.
