Welcome to the Administrative Services Department!


Administrative Services staff oversees six
important areas of responsibility for the City

  1. HUMAN RESOURCES - Recruitment, selection, retention and benefits administration - For more information, please view the pages listed in the blue column to the left.


  2. EMPLOYEE DEVELOPMENT/LABOR RELATIONS - Employee training and appraisal system; consultation with city management staff in personnel issues, labor relations and interpretation of rules, regulations and memorandums of understanding;


  3. EMPLOYEE SAFETY - Administration of the City's Illness and Injury Prevention Program that supports employee safety and training;


  4. INFORMATION SERVICES - Support for all computers and peripheral equipment, networks, VoIP telephone system and other communication systems.
     

  5. RISK MANAGEMENT - Liability and property insurance, workers compensation claims;
     

  6. CUSTOMER SERVICE   - Reception and public relations, assistance and purchasing for all City departments, exemplary customer service to the citizens of Selma.
