important areas of responsibility for the City
HUMAN RESOURCES -

EMPLOYEE DEVELOPMENT/LABOR RELATIONS -
Employee training and appraisal system; consultation with city management staff in personnel issues, labor relations and interpretation of rules, regulations and memorandums of understanding;
EMPLOYEE SAFETY -
Administration of the City's Illness and Injury Prevention Program that supports employee safety and training;
INFORMATION SERVICES -
Support for all computers and peripheral equipment,
networks, VoIP telephone system and other communication
RISK MANAGEMENT -
Liability and property insurance, workers compensation
- Reception and public relations, assistance and
purchasing for all City departments, exemplary customer
service to the citizens of Selma.
