Housing Programs

   

Selma's housing assistance programs are operated by the Planning Division of the City's Community Development Department to help qualifying Selma residents apply for financial assistance in order to buy, maintain or improve a home.

Selma Rehabilitation Loan Program (SRLP)

This program offers deferred payment loans through the Selma Redevelopment Agency (RDA) to help below-median income households repair and/or modify their homes. The SRLP offers loans up to $25,000 with no interest and no monthly payments to correct problems related to health and safety.

Safe at Home

This program, funded through the Selma RDA, offers up to $5,000 in grants to qualifying senior citizens in Selma for safety improvements such as grab bars, steps, ramps and other housing retrofits related to the particular health and safety needs of senior citizens.
