women of the Selma Police
Department, I welcome you to our police department's website. It

The City of Selma is a
growing and thriving full-service municipal agency serving a
population of over 25,000. The police department is
staffed with 37 sworn and 12 non-sworn positions.
The Selma Police Department
committed to serving the community in a professional manner which promotes
community involvement and remains sensitive to
the needs of its citizens. As we continue to
grow, so do the challenges we face as a community, and the Selma
Police Department is
