Investigations Unit

The Investigations Unit is responsible for investigating serious felony and misdemeanor crimes occurring within its jurisdiction. Often these investigations take many hours of field and office work before an arrest can be made or before the case can be forwarded to the Fresno County District Attorney’s Office for review and prosecution. Personnel assigned to the Investigations Unit work to identify perpetrators involved in these crimes and provide support to victims of crimes during the course of an investigation. The crime victims and the community both benefit from the prosecution and punishment of criminals.
