PROGRAM INFORMATION
Selma High School
3125 Wright Street
This Summer, Selma High
School will be opening their brand new
Aquatic Complex. Local aquatic
organization, Raisin Country Aquatics
(RCA), plans on bringing to Selma a
whole new aquatic program available at
this new facility. RCA is developing
programs such as: Swim Lessons, Year
Round Swim Team, Adult (Master's) Swim
Group, Lap Swimming, Club Water Polo,
and various other programs.
RCA's Head Coach, Kacy
Ota,
“What is going to make us different from
many of the other programs around here,
is that we will are going to provide a
program not just to learn the skill of
swimming, but a program where you can
actually develop that skill so you will
be strong enough to execute the skills.
The program will also lead into
competitive swimming if the child enjoys
the activity, and chooses to go on.
Other Programs teach the skill and then
leave it to you find a place where they
can develop the skill.”
Prices for the swim lessons will be
similar to those prices of lessons in
the past. Due to the minimum wage
upgrade last year, we plan on pricing
the lessons at $40 per two week session,
and $45 for a Mommy and Me Class. Beyond
the Swim Lesson classes, there will be
swim groups available with our year
round team starting at $40 per month.
RCA
is known mainly for its 27 year history
of being a year round swim team where it
produce many of Valley's top swimmers.
In November of 2009 though RCA merged
with local team, Tule Nation Tritons,
and no longer compete as RCA.
