Youth Services

The Youth Services Division consists of the Salazar Youth Center, Eric White After School (Weed & Seed) program.  The main objective of the Youth Services Division is to provide quality and effective services, which will enrich the quality of life for our youth and meet their needs through after-school programming. 

Salazar Youth Center

Program Hours

Due to budget constraints the Salazar Center will not open for the 2009-2010 school year.

The Salazar Center and Weed & Seed program sites offer nutrition and healthy lifestyle activities utilizing resources from the 5 A-Day Power Play, Harvest of the Month, Dairy Council of California's "Deal Me In" and SPARK programs.  Students participate in cooking demonstrations, taste testing activities, educational games and outdoor activities that promote physical activity and healthy lifestyle options.
