The Youth Services
Division consists of the Salazar Youth Center, Eric
White After School (Weed & Seed) program and the
Wednesday Night Social Club. The
main objective of the Youth Services
Division is to provide quality and
effective services, which will enrich
the quality of life for our youth and
meet their needs through after-school
programming. Our
objective is to also
provide opportunities and activities to
the developmentally disabled.

The Salazar Center and
Weed & Seed program sites offer
nutrition and healthy lifestyle
activities utilizing resources from the
5 A-Day Power Play, Harvest of the Month, Dairy Council of
California's "Deal Me In" and
SPARK programs.
Students participate in cooking
demonstrations, taste testing
activities, educational games and
outdoor activities that promote physical
activity and healthy lifestyle options.

The Wednesday Night
Social Club meets on the 1st Wednesday
of each month at the Salazar Center from
6:30pm to 8:30pm. This program
provides social opportunities and
activities for the developmentally
disabled.
