The City Of Selma's Animal Services Center is dedicated to keeping pets with their families and providing pet resources to residents of Selma

Open to the Public: Monday to Saturday, 10 am to 4 pm
Calls for Service:
- Animal Services Team Availability: Monday to Saturday, 8 am to 4 pm
- After-Hours Priority Calls: The Police Department will handle Priority 1 calls (dog bites, sick and injured, vicious animals) after 4 pm on weekdays, Saturdays, and all day Sunday. Non-priority calls will be addressed by the Animal Services team the following business day.

- Providing emergency transportation for injured stray animals
- Animal bite reporting and quarantine as necessary
- Impounding and temporary care for stray and unwanted animals
- Conducting criminal investigations involving animals
- Resolving citizen complaints regarding animals
- License enforcement
- Assisting with animal traps as needed
- Dangerous/vicious animal enforcement
- Assisting with vaccination clinics
- Coordinating euthanasia services when absolutely necessary
