Public Hearing Notice: Selma Casitas Project
The City Council will hold a public hearing on Tuesday, December 16, 2025 at 6:00 pm in the Council Chambers at Selma City Hall, 1710 Tucker Street, to consider Application 2022-0030 (Selma Casitas Project). The proposal includes annexation of approximately 75.3 acres, a General Plan Amendment, Pre-Zone/Re-Zone, Tentative Subdivision Map, and Site Plan Review. The project consists of mixed-use residential and commercial development, including 600 apartment units, retail and food service uses, and a 100-key hotel.
The project site is located west of Highland Avenue, north of Rose Avenue, and south of East Floral Avenue. The Planning Commission reviewed the proposal but did not forward a formal recommendation due to a divided vote. The City Council will independently consider the Final Environmental Impact Report (EIR) and all related entitlements.
