Mid Valley Disposal to Host 2026 Selma Clean Up Event

Mid Valley Disposal is hosting the 2026 Selma Clean Up Event from April 23 through April 25, operating daily from 7:00 am–3:00 pm at the drop-off site located at Nelson & McCall (enter through McCall Ave).  This event gives Selma residents an opportunity to properly dispose of bulky and unwanted household items in one convenient location.

Accepted Items  (No loose items) 

• Furniture 

• Appliances 

• Metals 

• Wood 

• E-waste (fees may apply) 

• Green waste 

• General trash 

• Mattresses 

Important Event Guidelines 

• Current ID required for entry 

• Limit 1 vehicle per address 

• No dump trucks or dump trailers 

• Maximum vehicle size: passenger truck with 12 ft trailer 

• Residents must bring items to the site and help unload 

• Please separate metals, appliances, mattresses, electronics, green waste, and general trash before arriving 

Tire Disposal (Cash Only) 

• Passenger tires: $15 each 

• Truck tires: $30 each 

• No rims 

Household Hazardous Waste (HHW) Drop-Off Locations. Certain items must be taken to designated local sites: 

• Sharps: Nick Medina Senior Center, 2301 Selma Street 

• Medication: Old Police Department, 1935 E. Front Street 

• Motor Oil & Oil Filters: O’Reilly’s, 2654 Whitson Ave. 

• Batteries & Fluorescent Bulbs/Tubes: Nelson’s Ace Hardware, 2051 High St.
