Measure “S” Oversight Committee Vacancy


The City of Selma is now accepting applications to fill one vacancy on the Measure “S” Oversight Committee. This is a volunteer position for a community member interested in helping ensure Measure “S” funds are used as intended.

What does the committee do? The Measure “S” Oversight Committee helps ensure that expenditures made from Measure “S” funds are spent according to the purposes outlined in the measure’s expenditure plan. Measure “S” is the half-cent sales tax approved by voters to help fund Police and Fire services in the City of Selma.

Committee details:

  • Five-member committee
  • Terms are three years
  • Meets at least annually
  • Date and time are determined as needed

Requirements:

  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • Must live within Selma city limits
