Emergency Response Drill Scheduled at Selma High School

The City of Selma would like to inform the community that an Emergency Response Drill will take place at Selma High School on Saturday, April 25.
This training will simulate a large-scale emergency and will involve multiple agencies from across the Central Valley working together to practice coordinated response procedures.
During this time, residents may notice increased police, fire, EMS, and helicopter activity in the area. This is only a drill and there is no actual emergency.
Road Closures
Roads surrounding Selma High School will be closed from 7:00 am–3:00 pm. Please plan ahead and use alternate routes.
- Oak St. at Wright St.
- Aspen St. at Wright St.
- Dennis Dr. at Wright St.
- Barbara St. at Wright St.
- Jackson St. at Wright St.
- Huntsman Ave. at Wright St. (northbound and westbound sides)
- Gaynor St. at Huntsman Ave.
- Huntsman Ave. at Thompson Ave.
This training helps ensure local agencies are prepared to respond quickly and effectively in real emergency situations.
